Children of Lugansk met Putin

48 children from Lugansk arrived to Voronezh, Russia to, at least for some time, get away from the shelling by Ukrainian army. According to the organizer of the trip Natalia Sokolova, kids are housed in Otradnyi, foster house in the church of st. Mary where in the summer of 2014 where housed refugees from south-eastern Ukraine (before southeastern regions of Ukraine became republics).

48 kids and 5 teachers arrived to Voronezh from Lugansk. For 2 days children visited local attractions – local rides, salt water aquarium shows and theater. The highlight of the trip was a visit from Russian president Vladimir Putin.
