How armed conflict in Ukraine started – look back

Shortly after groups of Right Sector and Maidan activists took control of the government building and legitimate Ukrainian president Yanukovich has relocated for security reasons, armed men that took over Kiev’s government buildings announced that Turchinov is their president now, violating Ukrainian constitution.  Next, new regime took control of Ukrainian military. In addition they created National Guard battalions which comprised of Right Sector neo-Nazi radicals and other nationalist organizations.

Days after February 24 regime change armed men began to arrive to southeastern parts of Ukraine to force new regime upon local population. Shootings and bombings began in March, April or May – depending on the location. Below footage was taken between March and May of 2014 , before people took arms to protect themselves from new illegitimate Ukrainian regime that ordered their army to submit population of Donetsk and Lugansk. Back then it used to be southeastern Ukraine, now it is Donetsk People’s Republic.
