Residents of Ukrainian capital form long lines near specialized kiosks where they can buy cheap bread.
“Lines are huge. 30 minutes after bread is delivered it’s already gone. People stand in lines for hours waiting for bread delivery.” – Kiev Today quoted one of locals.
“It’s like this every day, you may wait for 20 minutes or you may wait for an hour. Important thing is to get to the kiosk when they deliver bread, otherwise there won’t be any left later and you’ll have to wait several hours.” – commented elderly woman in the line to kiosk.
Bread is brought to kiosk three times a day, but there’s always a crowd waiting nearby.
