Melitopol, Ukraine – locals beat up Ukrainian National Guard members

Around 3 am on November 24 in Melitopol near Victory square two members of Ukrainian National Guard that came back from fighting people of Donetsk were beat up by a group of locals.


It all started when one of national guardsman began conversation with locals outside of a Cafe. When second soldiers stepped out of cafe conversation escalated to verbal argument. Ukrainian soldiers asked locals to respect members of newly formed punitive battalions that fight locals of Donetsk and Lugansk. Few minutes later fight broke out. Several more locals joined in.

According to authorities it is third incident in the town of Melitopol where locals attack Ukrainian soldiers that attack Donetsk and Lugansk region.
