People in Kiev block streets to protest lack of hot water, no heat, and unreliable electricity

Hundreds of people from Solomenskiy region of Kiev, Ukraine came out to the streets to show their outrage over not having any hot water, no heat, and electricity that only works sometimes. Protesters blocked car traffic on the street of Borshegovkaya. Local children are excused from schools and kindergartens due to cold weather. City authorities promised heat to be turned on on November 10th.


Kiev authorities respnded by informing public that for now they should use electrical appliances less than usual, heat water at most two times a day and flush their toilet less than usual.
