November 12, at around 6 pm fire broke out in presidential regiment warehouse where volunteers stored items collected for Ukrainian army and punitive battalions. Items such as clothing and binoculars were suppose to be sent to the Ukrainian forces that are attacking cities of Donetsk and Lugansk.

According to the Novorossia news channel fire was started by a group of people from Kiev who oppose Ukrainian aggression in Donetsk region. However, noone has claimed responsibility yet.

Three hangars and an area spreading 2000 sq km was ablaze. 21 fire trucks and around 100 firefighters participated in fighting the fire. Lack of water source and large area made it more difficult for firefighters to do their job. Additionally firefighters had to take a long route to the fire because Ukrainian soldiers would not let them through, through the main gate.

Noone is injured in the fire. All contents of the hangars are destroyed. Fire marshal was unable to determine source of the fire.
