Self-defense forces shot down AN-26 Ukrainian airplane, thwarted tank attack

July 14, Self-defense forces of Lugansk region last night have thwarted major tank attack by Ukrainian army. Around 70 tanks, numerous armored personnel carriers, artillery stations, air force and thousands of Ukrainian soldiers have attacked city of Lugansk to force coup installed radical, nationalist Kiev rule upon the region.

Despite being greatly outnumbered and being bombed non-stop, self-defense forces of Lugansk were able to thwart the attack. Not only self-defense forces thwarted the attack, they were able to destroy supply line of radical Ukrainian National Guard and shot down aggressor’s AN-26 airplane.

Update: total number of tanks used by Ukraine’s military is 110.

Update: four members of downed AN-26 plane have been detained by self-defense forces and are being questioned
