By | July 17, 2014

July 17, Malaysian Airlines Boeing 777 was shot down just a few hours ago over Ukraine. Plane was traveling over 10,000 meters above the ground when it was shot down. While Ukrainian authorities blame self-defense forces of Lugansk and Donetsk in firing at the airplane, self-defense forces do not posses weapons capable of reaching such altitudes. However, 27 “Buk M1” launchers are deployed by the Ukrainian forces in the Donetsk region, with the capabilities to shoot down targets at an altitude of more than 30km.
