Ukrainian tanks get stuck in a ditch that Ukrainian army dug

There is a saying in Europe: “don’t dig a whole for someone else, you might fall in it yourself”. Few months ago Kiev ordered a ditch to be dug on Ukraine – Russian border against mystical attack from Russia. Defensive ditch has been mocked and laughed at by most folks. Self-defense forces of Donetsk even drove a tank at high speeds across this ditch to show how ineffective it is.

Last week Ukrainian tank got stuck in its own ditch. What it was doing on Russian border is another question. There’s more, tank that came to the rescue also fell into the ditch.

On the same subject: I heard one old man from Odessa say: “well, I guess Ukraine is fighting Russia. Ukraine already lost half of its army, three quarters of its tanks and APCs and whole regions of Ukraine are leaving to become independent.” “What about Russia?” – I asked. “Russia didn’t even show up for the fight” – he said. 😀
